How to request deletion of your Impactful account and all associated personal data.

Delete Your Impactful Account

You can delete your Impactful account at any time. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your personal data from our systems.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete from the App

  1. Open the Impactful app
  2. Tap your Profile icon
  3. Tap Security
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. A confirmation dialog appears — tap Delete Account to confirm
  6. If prompted, verify your identity (re-enter your password, or sign in with Google or Apple depending on how you registered)
  7. Your account is permanently deleted and you are signed out

Warning: Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no cooling-off period.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, send an email to support@impactfulhub.com with:

  • The subject line: Account Deletion Request
  • The email address associated with your account
  • Your display name (so we can locate your account)

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following personal data is permanently removed:

What Data Is Retained After Deletion

Some data may be retained for a limited period after your account is deleted:

Note: Retained data is either anonymised (not linked to you) or automatically purged after the retention period. None of this data can be used to identify you once your account is deleted.

Third-Party Data

Your data may have been shared with the following service providers, who will also be instructed to delete it:

  • Firebase (Google) — authentication and data storage
  • Supabase — database backend
  • Sentry — crash reporting (automatically purged after 90 days)
  • Google Analytics — anonymised usage data only

If you signed in with Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In, deleting your Impactful account does not affect your Google or Apple account. You may also want to revoke Impactful's access from your Google or Apple account settings separately.

Important Things to Know

  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • All your Impact Coins will be lost
  • Any activities, pledges, and achievements will be permanently removed
  • If you are under 18, a parent or guardian may submit a deletion request on your behalf
