How to manage your profile, security settings, memberships, and account preferences in the Impactful app.
Profile and Settings
Your profile is your personal space on Impactful. It showcases your impact journey and gives you control over your account settings, security, and preferences.
Accessing Your Profile
Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner of the My Impact tab to open your profile screen.
Editing Your Profile
To update your personal details:
- Tap Show Profile on your profile card
- You can change:
- Display name — the name other people see
- Legal name — your full legal name
- Profile photo — upload a new photo or change your existing one
- Bio — update your personal description
- Contact email — change your contact email address
- Mobile number — add or update your phone number
- Address — add or update your address
- Tap Save when you are done
Your Impact Coins Banked total and Date of Birth are also shown on this screen but cannot be edited.
Tip: A complete profile with a photo and bio helps organisations get to know you and makes the AI generate better activity suggestions. See Setting Up Your Profile for guidance.
My Memberships
View all the organisations you have joined:
- From your profile screen, tap My Memberships
- See a list of all organisations you are a member of
- Tap any organisation to view their profile and activities
Activity History
View a record of everything you have done:
- From your profile screen, tap Activity History
- Browse your past and completed activities
- Tap any activity to review what you accomplished
Security
View your sign-in details and manage your account:
- From your profile screen, tap Security
- You can see:
- Sign-in email — the email address linked to your account (read-only)
- Delete Account — permanently delete your account and all data

Legal and Information
From your profile screen, you can also access:
- Privacy Policy — read how your data is collected and used
- Terms and Conditions — review the platform terms
- Support — get help with your account
- Attribution — view credits and acknowledgements
App Information
At the bottom of your profile screen, you will find the app version and build number. This information is helpful if you need to report an issue to support.
Logging Out
To sign out of your account:
- Scroll to the bottom of your profile screen
- Tap Log Out
- Confirm when prompted
You will need to sign in again the next time you open the app.
