How to register for activities, complete consent forms, answer custom questions, and check your registration status.
Registering for Activities
Some activities require you to register before you can take part. Registration lets the organising body know you are coming, collect any information they need, and manage participant numbers. Activities that do not require registration can be started straight away.
How to Register
- Find an activity or event in the Discover tab or from an organisation's profile
- Tap on it to open the detail page
- Tap the Register button
- Complete any additional steps (see below)
- Submit your registration
What You Might Be Asked
Depending on how the organisation has set up the activity, you may need to complete one or more of the following during registration:
Consent Forms
Some activities, particularly those run by organisations working with young people, require you to review and accept a consent form. Read through the form carefully and tap Accept to continue.
Custom Questions
Certain activities ask you to fill in additional information, such as your availability, dietary requirements, or relevant experience. Answer all required fields to complete your registration.
Legal Documents
You may be asked to review and accept legal documents before proceeding. These could include terms of participation, data-sharing agreements, or safeguarding policies.
Registration Approval
After submitting your registration, one of two things will happen:
- Auto-approved — You are confirmed immediately and can start the activity right away. This is the most common outcome.
- Pending approval — The organisation needs to review your registration before confirming. You will receive a notification in the Messages tab once your registration has been accepted.
Note: If your registration is pending, do not worry if you are not confirmed straight away. Organisations typically review registrations within a few days.
Checking Your Registration Status
You can see your registered activities and events in the Home tab. Activities you have registered for will appear in the My Events or My Activities sub-tabs depending on their type.
Tips
- Read the activity details carefully before registering so you know what to expect.
- Complete all required fields during registration to avoid delays.
- Check the Messages tab if you are waiting for approval — you will be notified there.
- Register early for popular events, as spaces may be limited.
